Welcome to ETAMM 2024

The international conference Emerging Trends in Applied Mathematics and Mechanics 2024 (ETAMM 2024) will be held from May 20th to May 24th, 2024 in A Coruña, Spain, organized by the Universidade da Coruña. It is the third edition of a series of conferences in Applied Mathematics. Previous editions took place in June 2016 at the Universitè de Perpignan Via Domitia (ETAMM 2016) and June 2018 at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow (ETAMM 2018).

The main aim of this series is to identify new trends in the domains of Applied Mathematics and Mechanics, and their Applications in Physics, Engineering Sciences, Biology and Economy and provide an opportunity for the dissemination of important and recent results. The conference will bring together mathematicians, interdisciplinary scientists and engineers from all over the world. It will be a scientifically enriching and socially exciting event hosted in the North of Spain, on the Atlantic Coast.

The conference will consist of invited lectures and contributed talks on recent results and future challenges in the field. The abstract of accepted communications and invited lectures will be published in the conference abstracts book, that will be made available online.

Selected and peer reviewed papers will be included in a special issue of the Springer international journal SeMA Journal: Bulletin of the Spanish Society of Applied Mathematics.
